Across A Blue Valley

This plein air painting was created at the beautiful and tranquil location near the top of Sandia Crest looking east at a row of mountains, although I'm not sure, are they are the Ortiz Mountains? I balanced my large watercolor paper against the metal bars surrounding the look-out point (to keep people from falling off) but was alarmed when a toddler ran ahead of his mother are started to climb the bars, hearing her scream out, "No climbing!!!." He jumped down and all's well that ends well.
