This was painted on location, plein air, during the 2 weeks I taught a watercolor class at La Romita School of Art, Umbria, Italy. Everyday we went to a different location and painted. The afternoons and nights were filled with critiques of the students' works. What a joy to spend so much time talking about and creating art!
